Delhi, New: The Indian cricket squad will not play in the Champions Trophy match in Lahore, according to reports in the Indian media.
The Indian cricket squad will not travel to Pakistan to play Champions Trophy matches, as reported by Indian media. According to BCCI sources, the BCCI would request that the International Cricket Council (ICC) set up the Indian team's matches in either Sri Lanka or Dubai.

Pakistan will host the Champions Trophy in February and March of the following year. Pakistan reportedly
volunteered to host all of the Indian team's games in Lahore. Since the 2008 Asia Cup, the Indian cricket team has not played a match in Pakistan due to tensions between the two countries.
2012 saw the two teams' final series played in India.
