Former players have been called to Lahore by the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to consult on Babar Azam's captaincy and the organization of domestic cricket.
In an effort to enhance domestic cricket and secure Babar Azam's captaincy for the national side, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi is reportedly scheduled to meet with between thirty and thirty-five international cricket players on Monday.
The recommendations will probably be put into practice following input from former cricket players on the domestic setup.

According to sources, the cricket players will also be given credit for the three new competitions that Champions has initiated.
In a previous informal interview with the media, Mohsin Naqvi stated that head coach Gary Kirsten had presented a report on the team's dismal performance in the T20 World Cup, but that captain Babar Azam's replacement had not yet been decided. The decision is left to the concerned ex-cricketers.
