In the allocated 20 overs, Ireland, batting first, produced 106 runs for the cost of 9 wickets in the Group A match held at Lauderdale, Florida.
In front of the Pakistani bowlers, Ireland's top order was an utter disaster; the first six wickets fell for a mere 32 runs.Paul Stirling was out for one, Lorcan Tucker for two, and Andy Balberney and Harry Tector for zero. George Dockrell scored eleven runs, and Curtis Kempfer scored seven.
With 31 runs, Gareth Delaney was brilliant, followed by Mark Adair with 15 and Barry McCarthy with 2 runs out of the bench. Josh Little, who batted at number 10, finished undefeated with 22 runs, while Ben White scored 5 runs.
Mohammad Amir grabbed two wickets, Haris Rauf took one, and Shaheen Afridi and Imad Wasim collected three wickets each for Pakistan.

Earlier Pakistan team captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bowl.
It should be noted that from Group A, USA and India have qualified for the Super Eight stage of the mega event, but now Pakistan and Ireland are officially playing their last group match.
