Saint Lucia: South Africa won the ICCT20 World Cup, defeating England by 7 runs.

The England team scored 156 runs for the cost of six wickets in the 45th match of the big event held in St. Lucia, chasing 164 runs.


For England, Harry Brooke scored 53 runs. Jos Buttler, the skipper, is at 17, Jonny Bairstow, 16, Phil Salt, 11, and Moeen Ali, 9 runs. Liam Livingstone is at 33.
Sam Curran (10 runs) and Jofra Archer (1 run) came back to the pavilion unbeaten.

Kesho Maharaj and Kigiso Rabada captured 2 wickets each for South Africa, while Otnel Baartman and Enrique Noquie claimed 1 wicket each.

Earlier, on invitation from England, South Africa batted first and made 163 runs in 20 overs at a cost of 6 wickets.


For South Africa, Quinton de Kock scored 65 runs. Henrik Klaasen 9, skipper Aiden Markram 1, David Miller 43, Reza Hendricks 19, and Marco Jensen 0 runs out.

After Tristan Stubbs scored twelve, Keshav Mahiraj came back to the pavilion with five runs without being out.

Jofra Archer grabbed four wickets for England, while Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali each claimed one wicket.
