Antigua: India set Bangladesh a target of 197 runs to win in their ICCT20 World Cup Super Eight round encounter.
Bangladesh won the toss and chose to field against India in the game taking place at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua.
India, batting first, completed the stipulated 20 overs with 196 runs at the cost of 5 wickets. Hardik Pandya scored 50 runs in an undefeated innings.
Virat Kohli (37), Rishabh Pant (36), Shiv Dubey (34), and Rohit Sharma (37), all scored 23 runs each, Surya Kumar Yadav (6 runs), and Akshar Patel (3 runs) all stayed in the game.
Hasan Saqib and Rashad Hussain claimed two wickets apiece for Bangladesh, while Shakib Al Hasan took one.
