KARACHI: Despite his best efforts, former PCB Chairman Dr. Naseem Ashraf was unable to obtain tickets for India's T20 World Cup match against Pakistan.

Questioning the ICC's balloting mechanism, he stated, "I have not heard from anyone that he received the tickets." Certain people took all of the tickets, which are now purportedly being sold in black."


He stated that I had also alerted the PCB of the facts and requested assistance, but no one responded to my email. 


Dr. Naseem Ashraf stated that tickets on some websites are being offered for hundreds of dollars, which equates to millions of Pakistani rupees.


He stated that if the ICC wants to promote cricket in America, it must improve the ticketing system and maintain pricing reasonable.
