Wasim Akram, a former captain of the national team, has voiced the desire that India will play Pakistan in the Champions Trophy in 2025.
In an interview with a foreign media outlet, the former captain and pundit stated, "I believe the Indian team will visit Pakistan next year for the Champions Trophy and will see wonderful arrangements." In order to accommodate the massive event, Chairman PCB is renovating the stadiums. which is appreciated.
According to Wasim Akram, Pakistan needs this competition to advance its cricket game. He also expressed optimism that other nations will participate, noting that politics and cricket are entirely unrelated. Pakistan is prepared to welcome eight elite teams.
