Colombo: Sri Lanka announced their squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024.
In the squad announced by the Sri Lankan board, all-rounder Vinindu Hasaringa has been appointed as the captain and Charith Asalanka as the vice-captain while veteran Angelo Mathews has also returned to the team.
Sri Lanka will face South Africa, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Nepal in Group D of the tournament.
Sri Lanka will play their first match in the T20 World Cup on June 3 against South Africa in New York.
