The tenth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is scheduled to be held in Rawalpindi from April 12.
According to the details, the Pakistan Cricket Board has sent the proposed schedule of PSL 10 to the franchises.
8 matches will be played at Pindi Cricket Ground while National Stadium Karachi and Multan Stadium will host 5 and 5 matches respectively. 4 matches will be played at neutral venues. The reason for fewer matches in Karachi this year is limited number of crowd, all 10 matches between defending champions Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars will be day and night.
Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi 9, 9 while Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans 8, 8 matches will play in the light of electric lights. All the five matches scheduled in Karachi will be played by the host team Kings.
Qalandars also have to play half of the matches at their home ground, Quetta Gladiators will have 5 matches in Lahore, Sultans home ground Multan and Islamabad United will be seen in action 5, 5 times in Rawalpindi.
Peshawar Zalmi 5 matches are also scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi, teams will report on 7th April 2025. The series of practice sessions will continue till 11th.
The opening match will be played on Saturday April 12 between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars in Rawalpindi, the next day there will be 2 matches, Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators in Rawalpindi and Kings and Multan Sultans in Karachi.
PSL 2025; PCB has suggested conflicting dates with IPL
The initial series of matches will end in Rawalpindi on 19th April, while the matches will be completed in National Stadium Karachi on 21st, the series of matches will start in Multan from 22nd April and in Lahore from 24th.
The last match at Gaddafi Stadium will be held on May 4, after which Rawalpindi will host 4 matches and Multan will host 2 matches. There will be no matches from May 11 to 14.
After that, Qualifier on May 15, Eliminator on May 16, Qualifier 2 on May 18 and Final on May 20 will be played at neutral venue.
Remember that this is the preliminary schedule of matches, the franchises will review and contact the PCB and changes are also possible.
