Bad weather and storms in American cricket venues have exposed the vulnerability of inadequate infrastructure.

The match between the host United States and Bangladesh in Dallas was canceled on Tuesday owing to a storm, which also damaged the huge screen put on the field.

The National Weather Service stated in its forecast that the Dallas storm might make its way up the East Coast, potentially hitting cities from North Carolina to Maryland; thus, the area between New York and Florida is critical. It is significant since numerous World Cup matches, including India-Pakistan on June 9, are slated to take place on the same grounds.

Despite the inclement weather, Texas will hold two additional warm-up matches: Netherlands vs. Canada and Nepal vs. USA.

It should be remembered that the T20 World Cup 2024 will officially begin on June 1 at three locations in America: Eisenhower Park (New York), Lauderhill (Florida), and Grand Prairie Stadium (Texas).
